Mr. James Landman
Mr. Landman has been teaching band at Sheyenne since the fall of 2013. The Sheyenne band program runs on passion, pride, and perseverance, aiming to teach its students the value of using the skills they learn in the band room to empower their futures. Mr. Landman composed the school's fight song, the Mustang Stampede, and collaborated with Mr. Josh Grover (choir teacher at the time) on the lyrics. He is also a proud member and the commander of ND's 188th Army Band. He previously taught at Grand Forks Red River High School (2011-2013) and Fargo South Campus 2 (Spring 2011). Mr. Landman holds Bachelor's (December 2010) and Master's (December 2022) degrees in Instrumental Music Education, both from NDSU.
