How to Get Started:

Pre-Season (captains' practices) will be held the following dates and times at Sheyenne High School Gym 

While preseason sessions are not mandatory, they are strongly encouraged. These sessions are a great opportunity to get back in shape, work on skills, and build team chemistry before the official season begins. Important: Please carry your shoes and change into them at the gym rather than wearing them while walking in. This helps us keep the court dry and safe by reducing water and moisture tracked in from outside.

Tryouts are coming up soon! Here are the details:

Please be aware that times and locations are subject to change on short notice due to weather conditions or facility availability. We will notify you as soon as possible if any changes occur, so please check your email and phone app regularly leading up to tryouts. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to one of the coaches.

What to Bring:

• Athletic shoes (please carry them in and change at the gym) 
• Soccer Cleats (in case we can get outdoors, or use indoor turf)
• Shin guards (Mandatory)
• Water bottle
• Appropriate athletic attire (have attire for both indoor and outdoor practice)

Who can participate?

Any student in grades 7-12 who is enrolled in one of the following schools can participate as long as they are in good academic standing:

• Liberty Middle School
• Heritage Middle School
• Horace High School
• Sheyenne High School

What time will practice be?

Varsity and Junior Varsity: 5:00 - 6:30 PM
C Team: 4:30 - 6:00 PM (may vary depending on weather conditions and facility availability)

Practice times are subject to change based on facility availability and weather conditions. All schedule changes will be communicated through SportsYou.

Where will practices be held?

Practices will be held at the following locations:

• Sheyenne High School Stadium
• Horace High School Stadium
• Liberty Middle School grass field

Is there a cut policy?

There is no cut policy. However, coaches reserve the right to not select players who do not positively contribute to the team culture. Team roster sizes will depend on the quality and overall number of participants.

How many halves/games can you play in a week?

According to NDHSAA an athlete is allowed to play in a maximum of 8 halves per seven-day period.
