Fall Activity Registration is OPEN!

All participants must have the registration completed online and a physical dated on or after April 15, 2026 submitted with the online Arbiter registration, before the activity start date. Please be sure to take the time to update your participant's age, grade, and delete any outdated sports physicals in your profile. This will help maintain clean reports and quicker participation approval by our trainers - this is greatly appreciated!

Participation fee payments are now made through Arbiter during the registration process, online. My School Bucks will no longer be utilized for activity payments. Cash or Checks made out to Sheyenne High School are also accepted in the Activities Office. Participation fees must be paid before the first contest to remain eligible for play.

Girls Golf – Coach Dan Wolf. Begins on Monday, August 10, 9am at Osgood. Parent Meeting Monday, August 10 at 5:30 pm in the Multipurpose Room at Sheyenne HS.

Boys Soccer – Coach Jon Melendez. Begins on Monday, August 3 at 10 am in the SHS Commons. Parent Meeting will be held on Monday, August 10 at 7:30 pm in the SHS main Gym. See the Boys Soccer webpage for details on the training structure of the beginning of the season.

Cross Country – Coach Jared Slinde. Begins at Midnight (midnight madness) on Monday, August 10. Parent meeting on Tuesday, August 11, 6 pm on the track. Please email coach Slinde with any questions regarding the first practice.

Football –  Coach Jeremy Newton. Begins on Thursday, August 6 at 9am. Players can meet in the back of the school near door 17 for the first day of practice. Parent meeting will be on Monday, August 10, 6pm in the SHS commons.

Girls Swimming and Diving –Coach Erich Richardson. Begins on Monday, August 17 at Hulbert Aquatic Center, 4:10pm. Parent meeting is Tuesday, August 4 via Zoom at 7pm. Zoom meeting link is available on the Girls Swimming and Diving webpage.

Boys Tennis – Coach Dan Gu. Player information meeting on Tuesday, July 28, at 6 pm, in the multipurpose room. Parent meeting will be held Tuesday, August 4, at 6 pm in the multipurpose room.  Practice begins on Monday, August 10, 3 to 5 pm on the Sheyenne High School tennis courts. 

Volleyball – Coach Leah Newton. Try outs begin on Monday, August 17 from 9am to 11am and from 12pm to 2 pm: Tuesday, August 18 from 9am to 11am and from 12pm to 2 pm: Wednesday, August 19 from 9am to noon. Parent meeting will be on Thursday, August 20 in the main gym at 6pm.

Student Congress – Coach Krista Hulderman. First competition is on Monday, September 1 – please watch for further communication on a start date for Student Congress.

**All player participation fees should be paid with credit card on Arbiter at time of registration or with cash/check in the activity office before the first contest of the activity. Registration must be complete with a valid sports physical on file before the start date of the activity. Players will not be permitted to participate without the completed registration and sports physical submitted online. NDHSAA Physicals For 2026-2027 School Year

Any physical dated after April 15, 2026 is good for the 2026-2027 school year. All athletes will need a new physical on file every year before they can participate in their athletic activity. Don't wait - get it done today!

Physical Information from NDHSAA:

Prior to participation (including practice) a student participating in NDHSAA sanctioned athletic activities and representing his/her school must have on file with their school, an annual NDHSAA-approved Athletic Pre-Participation Health History Screening and Physical Examination clearance form completed by a qualified health care professional (i.e. Doctor of Medicine of Osteopathy, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant under the supervision of a physician); the Athletic Pre-Participation Health History Screening and Physical Examination is valid for one school year; a physical examination completed before April 15 is not valid for participation the following school year.
